Sony have officially announced the widest prime to date, the FE 20mm f/1.8 G. A more detailed preview can be found here.

This lens does look nice in terms of size, weight and image quality but not something I would buy. I’m really holding out for Sigma to release that 16mm f/2 lens they patented so I have a UWA prime for when I travel.
